You will find that the excess form will be dissolved in water and, as the airbrush is immersed in the liquid, the composition will not even solidify the inside of the material.

Every time it does not hurt to make the feed clean with a microphone. Do this by removing the air cap and wiping it thoroughly with a q-tip dipped in water or cleaner.
