Airbrush Makeup Systems: A How to Guide for Cleaning and Maintenance

Airbrush Makeup Systems: A How to Guide for Cleaning and Maintenance

Types of Cleansers

There are two types of cleansers needed for those who use airbrush makeup. The first is to clean between the inclusion of various cosmetics; the second to clean after completing your makeup process. For those who are new to cleaning the air, this may seem like a lot harder but not worse than keeping your normal tools clean. Remember, airbrush guns will not work properly without regular and proper cleaning. This article will help you minimize the amount of cleaning time and also contains details about the proper cleaning products and tools you should use when cleaning an airbrush gun.

Most airbrush makeup kits come with a branded fluid cleaner. This could be alcohol or chemical-based. However, for daily cleaning and cleaning it is usually sufficient to use soap and water or water on your own. The most important thing is not to use regular tap water because it contains trace elements and tools that build up in your airbrush gun over time and will eventually damage or block. Use only distilled water or filtered water. Other air brush-making kits also come with a cleaning kit containing the right tools (standard brushes of various sizes) and airbrush cleaning instructions. It is very important that you know these instructions because they can be very helpful but it is also good to know how to clean your airbrush without fancy machines and seal cleaners. Indeed, a q-tip and a cotton swab (or, plain cloth) are all you need. For those with an eco-conscience, there are many non-chemical cleaners who will be doing the job of cleaning your airbrush gun. Look for non-toxic cleaners, food-grade, hypoallergenic, and pH rated.

There are two main types of airbrush make-up:

Silicone cosmetics and water-based cosmetics. As you can imagine, the past is difficult to clean up. The main parts of an airbrush gun that you need to focus on are the needle/pipe area and the cup area. The cup is a region where you drop makeup and the mouth of the microphone is where the spray is sprayed without a gun.

Using a Q-tip (or cleaning brush) erase the remaining makeup that will be inside the cup. Always be careful not to damage the needle just below the area you are cleaning. This step will not clean the whole make-up so you should wash with fine water or clean with a 'back piercing'. Back-to-back is a technique used to mix make-up when the trigger is pressed in the middle causing a certain air to flow into the cup causing the makeup to blend together.  Know about makeup artist in Rohini.

If you do this with just water, the effect of the buzzer will be a physical cleansing action and you will successfully remove the airbrush gun. To reverse, block the airbrush shaft with your finger or microphone cap (provided with some airbrush makeup kits) and rewind the bullet that will allow air to escape through the cup (unlike the microphone). When you are satisfied that the texture is released in the cup area, open the nozzle and spray the liquid with a hose into the skin. It may be necessary to repeat this two or three times before the make-up is thoroughly washed and only clear water / clear airbrush cleaner comes out.

Don't forget, refined water is better than tap water because it does not contain minerals like calcium that will cause residues to form over time.

Now you have to clean the needle. Do this by removing it according to the manufacturer's instructions and erasing any excess makeup. I highly recommend using a blank cloth for this because cotton wool or q tips can tear or leave pieces of the material inside the airbrush.

The cleaning method most used by airbrush makeup artists is to soak their airbrush all night or while not using it. Some manufacturers actually sell special cups, or ‘boiler stand’ pots, designed for this purpose and will fit right with your airbrush brush. However, there is no need to go to extra costs if you have a usable container backup. The airbrush gun should be immersed in refined water and face down. Just put it in a container and leave it until you want to use the airbrush again. You will find that the excess form will be dissolved in water and, as the airbrush is immersed in the liquid, the composition will not even solidify the inside of the material.

Every time it does not hurt to make the feed clean with a microphone. Do this by removing the air cap and wiping it thoroughly with a q-tip dipped in water or cleaner. Also, it is best to use a blank cloth that will not leave any threads on the needle. Most people use tissue but it should never be put at risk.

Do not forget to be very gentle with the needle as this can easily be damaged and the airbrush will not work without it.

So, you see, it is not very difficult at all to keep a makeup gun clean, fully functional. The reversal process should be part of the whole process of airbrush specialists as it should always enter the storage pot. You do not need to disassemble and reassemble the airbrush every time you use it, but keep in mind that cleaning an airbrush cleaner works better and will last longer.
