Things to Know Before You Depart with Your Pet
Are you planning a trip to another country? Dogs (including assistance dogs) and cats have different restrictions, needs, and documents according to their origin, destination, booking date, and travel date.

● Vaccination, documentation, and entrance procedures for pets vary by destination. So double-check the requirements for each stop on your itinerary well ahead of time.
● Pet entrance rules in the United States differ by country of origin, and failing to meet these standards may result in issues upon arrival, including refusal to enter.
● Your pet and certified pet carrier must fit under the seat in front of you as one personal item. The dimensions of your pet carrier must be 17 "L x 12.5 "W x 8.5 "H, and the total weight of your pet and the carrier must not exceed 20 pounds).
● All pets must remain in the pet carrier while at the airport and on the plane.
● Taking a Blue Basic flight, Is this standard fare? You may bring a personal item in addition to the pet carrier, but no carry-on bags are allowed.
● Only one pet per carrier is allowed, and they must turn around comfortably when the carrier is closed.
How to Book Your Pet?
Small dogs and cats in an FAA-approved pet carrier that fits comfortably beneath the seat in front of you can travel in the cabin (except in Mint). You can book JetBlue Airlines flights online along with your pet at jetblue.com or through the JetBlue app, or you can call on an online travel agency for each step of assistance. ● Go to the JetBlue website/JetBlue App/Connect with an OTA at their airline customer service number.
● Search for your flight route like usual through the flight search engine
● The pet cost in JetBlue Airlines is $125 each way and can be applied during the booking process in the Extras section.
● Each traveler is allowed a maximum of two pets, each in their carrier. You must purchase a second seat and pay a pet fee to bring a second pet.
● Each flight allows a total of six pets, so it's better to book early.
