Keep all your points positive as they will expect you to be more enthusiastic about the upcoming film or series project.
Don’t forget your lines
It may seem obvious but, most of the time, actors used to forget the lines due to peer pressure of the audition and the environment around them, no matter how confident they are with the lines. Make sure you learn them perfectly and you won’t forget them. Practice your lines in your routine, such as washing up, bathing, eating, or even going to sleep. Be sure to know them fully before entering the audition room.

So, you should have your opinion ready about what you feel about your character and what motivates him or her in the scene in the audition. Even though your opinion is different from theirs, you show that you are indulged smartly and creatively with your take.
Power yourself up!
Audition can easily overpower your mind. It is not easy to shake that feeling. Keep in mind that you are expected to perform well. A casting director will always want you to get that role. Most of the time, you might feel that they are judging you. Rather, you must admit that the casting director is going to support and motivate you to do your job.
Get yourself into the character
Admit it! Casting director feels that you are the best suited for the role and you fit the character’s features aesthetically. This is the reason you’ve got the audition. What you should do here is to wear the makeup, hair and dress to give a hint that you are in the character. But stick to your own accent, otherwise it would look fake. You should also make the panel feel that you are the best fit for the character.
Bottom Line
Finally, keep in mind that the casting director wants you to perform well. You may be asked to perform your character again in a different manner after delivering your dialogues as per your character’s choices and views. Keep in mind that they are not going to judge or kill your performance. They may have a different view about the character’s elements. They want you to test your imagination and adapt with the character and script differently.
